Journal of Scholarly Studies in Arts and Human Development (JSS-AHD) is a bi-monthly, open-access, peer-reviewed international journal.
JSS-AHD serves as a scholarly platform for the dissemination of original research, theoretical insights, critical analyses, and creative approaches that advance knowledge in the fields of Arts, Humanities, Education, and Human Development.

Archiving & Preservation Policy
Journal of Scholarly Studies in Arts and Human Development (JSS-AHD) is committed to ensuring the permanent availability, accessibility and preservation of all published scholarly content.
Self-Archiving (Green Open Access)
The Journal permits and encourages authors to deposit versions of their manuscripts in institutional, subject-based and personal repositories without embargo. Authors may archive:
- Compliance with the journal’s structure and author guidelines
- Pre-print versions (before peer review),
- Accepted manuscripts (after peer review),
- Final published versions (publisher PDF).
Digital Preservation and Long-Term Archiving
This journal is Digitally Archived in the PKP Preservation Network (PN), Internet Archive. To ensure long-term digital preservation and prevent content loss, journal commits to archiving its content in independent, trusted digital repositories.
Persistent Identifiers and Metadata
All published articles are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to ensure permanent discoverability and stable citation. Article metadata is regularly maintained and made available to indexing and archiving services.

All of the opinions, statements, methods, and results expressed are the authors' own. The Publisher, the Managing Editor and the other editors take no responsibility for them.
The names and email addresses which are entered on this journal site will only be used for the purposes stated for the journal and will not be given to any other party or be made available for any other purpose.

The copyright of the article published in JSSAHD is held by the authors. The journal is licensed by Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) according to which the users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author as long as they cite the source.
PUBLICATION ETHICS AND PUBLICATION MALPRACTICE STATEMENT
DUTIES OF EDITORS
The ethic statements of the Journal of Scholarly Studies in Arts and Human Development (JSS-AHD), concerning the duties of the editors, are based on Committee on Publication Ethics, Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
The Editors actively work to improve the quality of the Journal. They are responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted should be published and they are guided by the policies of the Journal’s International Board and constrained by the laws in force.
The editors evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political orientation of the authors.
The editors and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher.
DUTIES OF REVIEWERS
Peer review assists the editor in making editorial decisions and through the editorial communications with the author may also assist the author in improving the paper.
Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. They must not be shown to or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor.
Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Referees should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
A reviewer should call to the editor’s attention any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published paper of which they have personal knowledge.
Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage.
Any selected referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the editor and excuse himself from the review process.
Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by the relevant citation.
Reviewers should not consider manuscripts which can give birth to conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.
DUTIES OF AUTHORS
Authors of reports of original research should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. The articles should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.
Usually, authors should not publish manuscripts presenting the same research in more than one journal or primary publication.
The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others that this has been appropriately cited or quoted.
Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given like publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work.
All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors.
Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as contributors.
The corresponding author should ensure that all co-authors are included on the article, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the article and have agreed to its submission to the journal for its publication.
When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his own published work, it is the author’s obligation to promptly notify to editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.
PLAGIARISM POLICY
Papers submitted to JSS-AHD will be screened for plagiarism using CrossCheck / iThenticate plagiarism detection or other software tools. JSS-AHD will immediately reject papers leading to plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
ARTICLE-PROCESSING CHARGE
Open access publishing is not without costs. JSS-AHD therefore levies an article-processing charge of USD 200$ or its equivalent INR 12000 Rupees for each article accepted for publication as a donation and support for the scientific purposes of the journal.
