Aim and Scope
The Journal of Scholarly Studies in Arts and Human Development is an international, peer-reviewed open-access publication devoted to the advancement of research at the intersection of the arts, humanities, media and human development. It welcomes rigorous empirical, theoretical and reflective work that explores how artistic practice, cultural expression, media communication, education and community engagement contribute to human development — broadly defined in cultural, social, economic and psychological terms. We particularly invite contributions that examine under-represented geographies, emerging media and arts practices in development contexts, interdisciplinary methods, and critical perspectives on the role of arts and culture in transformation and growth.
